For a Valentine’s Day weekend trip, why not enjoy a walk along the revetment from Bonchurch to Ventnor before a drink in the Spyglass Inn, a wander through the plants at Ventnor Botanic Gardens with a refreshing coffee and cake in their café or perhaps a hearty pub meal in one of our many quaint country pubs across the island after a countryside ramble!
For half term visitors, there are plenty of family friendly activities on offer:
- Robin Hill opens for half term for the first time with daily treasure hunts, flying falconry displays and a selection of attractions.
- Celebrate Valentine’s with the Love Heart Trail at Monkey Haven, which explores animal bonds and family connections.
- Explore Quarr Abbey and take part in a selection of activities, including meet the farmer, squirrel day, arts and crafts, gardening and more, as well as a free kids meal with every adult one.
- A Valentine’s trail, card colouring and free tours at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary (free entry too!).
- Half term quiz at the Isle of Wight Pearl with the café offering lots of tasty delights.
- Arts and craft sessions at Brading Roman Villa.
- For all the budding Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s, enjoy a track day at Wight Karting and battle it out for the podium!
- A wide variety of activities as part of Isle of Wight Story Festival.
