We’re delighted at Shanklin Holiday Homes to have teamed up with Ordnance Survey to celebrate the launch of not one but two brand new walking guides. With over 500 miles of footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways on the Isle of Wight, it’s not surprising they needed to do two guides!
Out now, the two new guides are Isle of Wight Outstanding Circular Walks and Short Walks Made Easy Isle of Wight.
First up, Isle of Wight Outstanding Circular Walks features 28 different walks from short to long distances and covering coast and countryside. Each walk comes with a written rundown of the route including features to look out for, along with a map and key information on the terrain, elevation, estimated time and transport options including parking and public transport.
Secondly, Short Walks Made Easy Isle of Wight has 10 short walks across the island. Featuring maps and all of the key information you’d expect as above, it also includes the nature notes, stories behind the locations featured, an elevation diagram and most importantly, where to stop for a pit stop and refreshments!
We’ve got 2 copies of each of the new Ordnance Survey walking guides to give away.
